Ameritox + ASPMN: Partners Supporting
the Importance of Pain Management Care.

Ameritox and the American Society for Pain Management Nursing (ASPMN) are partners in educating clinicians about the importance of pain management care. This partnership is founded on the shared belief that all health care professionals and their patients benefit from pain management education. Additionally, ASPMN and Ameritox want to further that education to include pain medication monitoring and practice management.

The most celebrated event for this important education is the annual ASPMN Conference, which brings together the leading minds in pain management to discuss topics of interest to nurses and other pain practitioners involved in daily pain management patient care.

This year, Ameritox was a proud sponsor of the ASPMN 19th Annual Conference, which was held September 12-15, 2009 in Jacksonville, FL. Ameritox sponsored a keynote event featuring Steven D. Passik, Ph.D., Associate Attending Psychologist, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; Harry Leider, M.D., MBA, Ameritox’s Chief Medical Officer; and Timothy J. Kappes, Ph.D. of Impart, LLC.

Now, as part of our on-going partnership with ASPMN, Ameritox is delighted to provide the content of the luncheon presentation, ”Managing a Patient’s Pain in Today’s Regulated Environment”, for ASPMN members who would like to view it again, or who were unable to attend the event.
